Doha, Qatar: The state of Qatar’s Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs’ Crescent Sighting Committee has urged Muslims in Qatar to look for the crescent moon marking the beginning of Ramadan on the evening of Friday, February 28, 2025.
Those who sight the crescent are called to report to the committee's headquarters at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Dana Towers, where a meeting will occur immediately after the Maghrib prayer.
