Doha, Qatar: Qatar is set to host the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Doha for five consecutive years, a first for the Middle East and North Africa, as announced by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT).
The hosting agreement was signed by Minister of Communications and Information Technology HE Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai and GSMA CEO John Hoffman during MWC 2025 in Barcelona.
The Minister highlighted that the event will promote collaboration and knowledge sharing, accelerate digital transformation, and strengthen Qatar's status as a global digital innovation hub, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
